A note about the photo: "Notes from the Meat Sack: Berkeley, 2013" -- photo taken by Juliana Spahr at Poetics of Healing, curated by Eleni Stecopolous at the Subterranean ArtHouse. Butcher knives taken from David Buuck's kitchen; soundtrack performed by Melissa Buzzeo -- reluctantly but with brilliance. Red sack sewn (by hand) by Asha Kapil: "Demented Panda." Recording device provided by Angel Dominguez, grad student at Naropa.
